Beth Sherman’s novella-in-flash, How to Get There from Here, was published in July 2026 by Ad Hoc Fiction. She lives on Long Island and has had more than 200 stories featured in literary journals, including Ghost Parachute, Fictive Dream, Bending Genres and Smokelong Quarterly, where she’s a Submissions Editor. Her work appears in Best Microfiction 2024 and 2026 and Best Small Fictions 2025. She's the author of five mystery novels.
Ben Macnair is an award-winning poet, playwright, and musician from Staffordshire in the United Kingdom.
Christopher Ricker is a poet, naturalist, and writer from Staten Island, New York. Christopher is the Director of Programming at Freshkills Park, once the world’s largest landfill has now been restored into what will be New York City’s largest part built in over a century. His work frequently explores deep ecology, memory, and the relationship between landscape and identity.
Keemia Sarafpour is a writer based in New York City, originally from San Francisco. Her work often explores the uncanny, ephemeral details at life’s periphery. In the fall, she will be pursuing her MFA in fiction at Columbia University. She writes sporadic and self-indulgent personal essays on her Substack, @keemianotkimia. In her spare time, she enjoys wearing skirts and eating tart frozen yogurt.
Damon Hubbs is a poet from New England. Recent publications include The Disappointed Housewife, The Gorko Gazette, AEOS Magazine, The Literary Underground, Michigan City Review of Books, and elsewhere. He is the author of the poetry collections Nighttime Logic and Venus at the Arms Fair. He is a poetry editor at Blood+Honey.
Drew Bufalini has been writing professionally for roughly two hundred years. Mostly as an advertising copywriter. He has imagined, and brought to life, campaigns for many well-known national brands. He has also published short fiction in many literary journals. Drew is disabled and lives with his wife and puppies outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Mykyta Ryzhykh is from Ukraine, and now lives in Tromsø, Norway. Nominated for Pushcart Prize and Touchstone prize. Published many times in literary magazines іn Ukrainian and English: Tipton Poetry Journal, Stone Poetry Journal, Neologism Poetry Journal, Iterant, The Wise Owl and many others.
Patrick Meeds lives in Syracuse, New York, and studies writing at the Syracuse YMCA’s Downtown Writer’s Center. He has been previously published in Stone Canoe the New Ohio Review, Tupelo Quarterly, the Atticus Review, Door is a Jar, Guernica, The Pinch, and Nine Mile Review among others. His first book, The Invisible Man’s Tailor, is available from Nine Mile Press.
Charlie Kondek is a marketing professional and short story writer from metro Detroit, where he still lives with his family. He works in the crime and literary genres, and his stories have appeared in Black Cat Weekly, Hoosier Noir, The Saturday Evening Post, BULL, and elsewhere.
Sean Tierney earns his living as a Parks & Rec maintenance worker in the state of Florida. The humbling nature of his job, and his childhood in Rhode Island, are common topics of inspiration. In 2024, Bottlecap Press published Tierney’s most recent chapbook DIZZYING PATTERNS. His poems can also be found in issues of Corvus Review, Streetcake, and Poetry South.
Roger Mills grew up in the Midwest reading Ray Bradbury paperbacks. He now lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, with his wife and two Labs. Before retiring to write full-time, Roger had a long career in academic medicine and the pharmaceutical industry. He completed Stanford’s Online Writing Certificate program, and in addition to his short fiction, his debut novel, Everything’s Under Control, will appear in June 2026.
Andrew Careaga is a retired marketing and public relations practitioner whose writing has appeared in The Argyle, Frazzled Lit, Flash Fiction Magazine, In Short, Roi Fainéant, Spillwords, and elsewhere. One of his works was nominated for the Best Micro Fiction Anthology of 2026. He lives in Rolla, Missouri, and enjoys a good medium-rare ribeye every once in a while.

Itto and Mekiya Outini write about America, Morocco, and all those caught in between. They’ve published in many literary magazines. They’ve also received support from MacDowell, the Steinbeck Fellowship, the Edward Albee Foundation, the New York Mills Cultural Center, and the Fulbright Program. They’re collaborating on several books, running The DateKeepers, an author support platform, and co-hosting the podcast Let’s Have a Renaissance. They live in Kansas City, Missouri.
